Business Before Code
I start by understanding how your business actually runs — what gets written down, what gets repeated, where the time goes. The software comes after that, not before it.
Helping businesses work smarter, not harder.

The website customers find you through, the app your team works in, and the panel behind both where the actual business happens. Built as one system rather than three that half-talk to each other — so stock, orders and customers are the same records wherever you look at them.
Software shaped around how your business already runs — the same fields, the same steps, the same words your staff use. Ledgers, registers and daily paperwork, off paper and onto a screen.
Sites built to bring in enquiries, not just to exist. Bookings that get completed, catalogues that sell before anyone visits, and contact that lands with you instead of in a shared inbox.
Apps for your customers and your team, working on the phones they already carry — including offline, for the ones who work away from a desk.
The back office that makes the rest of it usable — orders, customers, staff and reports in one place, with everyone seeing only their part.
Live counts anyone can check, movements logged against the person who made them, and search that stays fast whether you carry fifty items or millions.
Customers place their own orders and pay online, with stock, delivery and status handled behind the scenes instead of over the phone.
From restaurants and retailers to service businesses, every client came with unique operational challenges. Instead of changing the way they worked, I built custom software around their business—turning manual processes into simple, efficient systems.

No handoffs. No middleman. No repeating yourself.
I scope it, design it, build it and hand it over — which is why projects here go live in weeks instead of months, and why every system starts from how your business already works rather than a template. When it's done, it's yours: no retainer, no lock-in.

We used to run everything from paper ledger books. Jay built an app that fits the way our factory actually works, and now it's all on the phone.

Hi, I'm Jay, the crafter behind the code.
I build websites, mobile apps and the systems a business runs on, like inventory, billing and factory tools.
Start with a rough ideaThe things people usually want to know before starting a project with me.
Something else on your mind? Ask me directly
No. A rough idea is enough. The 90-second enquiry form asks a few questions to shape it, and we work out the rest together on a short call.
I do. Codin Craafter is just me, so you talk directly to the person designing and writing the code. Nothing gets handed off or outsourced.
There's no fixed price list, because every business needs something different. After a short call you get a fixed quote, so the price doesn't creep up halfway through. See what shapes the price.
It depends on the scope, but I work fast and don't juggle dozens of clients. Most websites go live in a few weeks, and even larger systems take weeks, not months. Tell me about your project and you get a clear timeline with your quote, and I stick to it.
A 40% deposit to start, then the rest in milestones we agree upfront, usually 30% at a midpoint review and 30% before launch. Invoices are due within 7 days. I keep my timeline, so I ask the same of payments: if a milestone is overdue, work pauses until it's cleared, and late amounts carry interest as per my terms. Your project goes live and is handed over once the final payment is done.
Every project includes free bug fixes: 30 days for websites, 60 days for apps and custom systems. After that, you can continue with an Annual Maintenance Contract for updates, fixes and support, billed quarterly, or annually with a 10% discount.
Yes. Once the final payment is done, you get full ownership of the code, the admin access and every account set up for your project.
Next step
A sketch on paper, a spreadsheet, a page from your register. I'll work out the rest.
